July 23rd through July 28th, 2024, The Woodson African American Museum of Florida’s staff along with select scholars of the Shirley Proctor Puller M.A.S.T.R. Kids and the AKA AKAdemy programs embarked upon a life-changing pilgrimage to Atlanta, Georgia, Birmingham, Selma, and  Montgomery, Alabama. The journey was inclusive of historical sites, museums, memorials and more. Each of the pilgrimage brought new experiences and valuable lessons.  Below recaps their extraordinary experience.
